Two Iguana Books Authors Share News and Readings (Genevieve Chornenki and JoAnn Catania)

Iguana Books authors Genevieve Chornenki and JoAnn Catania read during an open mic hosted by Canadian Authors Association's Toronto branch (March 31, 2022). Chornenki reads from her memoir, Don't Lose Sight (2021), and shares the great news that it has been picked up by the Toronto Public Library, while also explaining a bit about the process by which books are added to the TPL. Genevieve also reads her poem, "After Wordsmithing," which was chosen by the League of Canadian Poets' "Poetry Pause" program and published on the League's website. JoAnn Catania reads from her debut novel, A Scarcity of Virgins, which was published by Iguana Books in 2021. As she explains, A Scarcity of Virgins follows "a woman's journey from patriarchal oppression to independence and self-fulfillment."
