Patricia Starr was born in Toronto and heads her own consulting firm that specializes in fundraising, special event co-ordination, fact checking, editing, research and writing.
She was the chairman and CEO of Ontario Place, has served on the boards of several crown and municipal corporations and is the recipient of several awards for community service. Patti also finds time to write a popular weekly blog about politics, books, and family at patriciastarr.com.
In the early 90s, Patti was the focus of a judicial inquiry known as the Starr Affair, which brought down the Peterson government. Her first publication, the nonfiction Tempting Fate: A Cautionary Tale of Power and Politics, is her own story of the inquiry. Patti’s first two novels, The DeLuca Series’ Deadly Justice and Final Justice, are stories of murder, betrayal, revenge and love. Patti’s third novel in the series, The Third Hole, was published in April 2013.
